We strive to provide safe and supervised environments for recreational, athletic, social, educational and cultural activities.

JUNIOR GIANTS BASEBALL

Junior Giants, the flagship program of the Giants Community Fund, is a free, non-competitive and innovative baseball program for boys and girls ages 5-18 years old.

 3-on-3 Basketball Tournaments (Annual Event)

This program is offered at the Middle Schools each year.
Police or Fire volunteers team up with 3-4 kids and play in a tournament during the lunch period. This was the third annual tournament and this program has reached over 150 kids.

PAL SUMMER PROGRAM (Annual Event)

This program takes select children from elementary and middle schools and exposes them to a variety of sports and cultural activities including baseball, basketball, football, soccer, swimming, tennis, art, and leadership skills. This was the third annual session and the program has now served over 70 kids.

NFL Flag Play 60  

This program was obtained through a grant completed by WJUSD. PAL took the program an implemented it in the middle school for two weeks. There were about 70 participants.

Transitional School Program (Summer 2017)

PAL officers participated in a transitional program for youths moving from elementary school to middle school and for those moving from middle school to high school. The program, run by WJUSD, was designed to help kids with the many changes and provide them with a support system as they move to a new school.
